These Terms and Conditions govern your use of purris.co.uk and the purchase of any products from us. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Website is operated by Purris Group Ltd ("Purris", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

References to "you" and "your" mean the person using the Website or placing an order.
2. About these Terms
These Terms apply to every order you place with us. We may update them from time to time, and the version that applies to your order is the one published on the Website at the time you place it. We recommend you save or print a copy for your records.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
3. Eligibility
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom (unless we have agreed otherwise in writing). By placing an order you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Orders and how a contract is formed
4.1 When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your basket subject to these Terms.
4.2 After placing an order you will receive an order acknowledgement by email. This acknowledgement confirms we have received your order; it does not mean your order has been accepted.
4.3 A binding contract between you and us is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming that the products have been shipped.
4.4 We may decline or cancel an order at any time before dispatch, for example if the product is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, if we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity, or if we are unable to deliver to your address. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
4.5 If you spot a mistake in your order after placing it, contact us as soon as possible at info@purris.co.uk and we will do our best to amend it before dispatch.
5. Pricing
5.1 All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
5.2 Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout before you complete your order.
5.3 Where a product is shown with a reference or "was" price (for example a crossed-out higher price), that reference price reflects a price at which the product has previously been offered for sale. Promotional prices apply only for the period stated and while stocks last.
5.4 We take care to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel. If we are unable to reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund any payment in full.
6. Promotions and discount codes
6.1 Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to any conditions stated at the time they are issued.
6.2 Unless otherwise stated, only one discount code may be used per order, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, and we may withdraw or amend a promotion at any time.
6.3 Free gifts or bundled items included with a product form part of that product offer and have no independent cash value.
7. Payment
7.1 We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order.
7.2 By submitting payment details you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method.
7.3 All payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
8. Delivery
8.1 We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. Estimated delivery times are shown on the Website and in your order confirmation. These are estimates and not guarantees.
8.2 Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided.
8.3 If no one is available to receive a delivery, the carrier may leave the parcel in a safe place, with a neighbour, or attempt redelivery in line with their procedures.
8.4 If your order does not arrive within a reasonable time of the estimated delivery date, please contact us at info@purris.co.uk so we can investigate.
8.5 We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (see section 14).
9. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
9.1 As a UK consumer buying online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
9.2 To exercise this right, tell us clearly that you wish to cancel within the 14-day period by emailing info@purris.co.uk. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
9.3 You must return the goods to us in a resaleable condition with all packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return postage for a change-of-mind cancellation, unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
9.4 We will refund the full price you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods back (or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner). We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
10. Our 40-day money-back guarantee
10.1 In addition to your statutory cancellation rights above, we offer a voluntary 40-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your fountain, you may return it within 40 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price.
10.2 To use the guarantee, contact us at info@purris.co.uk within 40 days of delivery and we will provide return instructions.
10.3 The product should be returned in a clean and reasonable condition. We may decline a refund where a product is returned damaged through misuse rather than normal use. This guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
11. Faulty or misdescribed goods
11.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the products we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
11.2 If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, please contact us at info@purris.co.uk with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue.
11.3 Your statutory rights include, depending on the circumstances and timing, the right to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction, or a refund. Where goods are faulty, we will cover the cost of return postage.
11.4 Nothing in these Terms, including our warranty in section 12, limits or removes your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods.
12. 1-year warranty
12.1 We provide a 1-year warranty on our fountains, running from the date of delivery. This warranty is offered voluntarily and in addition to your statutory rights.
12.2 The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.
12.3 How the warranty works:
- Within the first 40 days of delivery, you are covered by our money-back guarantee (section 10) and may request a full refund.
- After the first 40 days and for the remainder of the 1-year warranty period, if the product develops a genuine fault, we will at our discretion either send you a replacement (the same or a comparable product) or provide store credit to the value of the product. A cash refund is not offered as standard for warranty claims made after the 40-day period, except where required by your statutory rights.
12.4 What the warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including filter consumption.
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care and cleaning instructions.
- Damage caused by using non-genuine filters or parts not supplied or approved by us.
- Limescale build-up or blockages resulting from a lack of regular cleaning or filter replacement.
- Products that have been modified, repaired, or tampered with by anyone other than us.
12.5 To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@purris.co.uk with your order number and details of the fault. We may ask for photographs or for the product to be returned so we can assess the claim.
12.6 This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
13. Product information
13.1 We take care to describe and show our products accurately. Images are for illustration; colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and packaging may differ from images shown.
13.2 Product specifications (such as capacity, dimensions, and noise levels) are provided in good faith and may be subject to small manufacturing tolerances.
14. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, carrier delays, supply shortages, extreme weather, fire, flood, or failure of utilities or telecommunications networks.
15. Our liability
15.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.
15.2 Subject to clause 15.1, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
15.3 We supply our products for domestic and private use. We have no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
15.4 Subject to clause 15.1, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid for that order.
16. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, graphics, product designs, and the "Purris" name and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content without our prior written permission.
17. Acceptable use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Website in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or introduce any malicious code. We may suspend or restrict access to the Website at any time.
18. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
19. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@purris.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it promptly. We aim to acknowledge complaints within a reasonable time and to work with you towards a fair resolution.
20. General
20.1 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version applying to your order is the one in force when you place it.
20.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
20.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that does not waive our right to do so later.
20.4 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with your order confirmation and our policies referred to in them, form the entire agreement between you and us in respect of your order.
20.5 Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
